Sleepyhead

K had a good day. He was up around 6 AM, most likely earlier due to a dog "sleeping" in his room overnight, per his request.

He had a decent appetite, bowl of cereal, eggs, peanut butter toast, strawberries.

K went to school in a good mood other than showing signs that he was tired. Teacher reports he it was a good day for him.

He made it clear he didn't want to go to work with me, which is at a local church. This has been an on and off again dilemma. Especially since he attends school and has therapy, the kid is rather busy. Naps are rare and usually happen due to exhaustion.

However, after some consistent "no's" and intermittent crying, he bucked up and allowed me to get his shoes on.

Two very unusual instances occurred tonight. First, he said his head hurts and (first time ever) was pressing his hand on the spot. He was building with some blocks at the moment, but they weren't big or heavy and the height of the tower wasn't above him. Within a few minutes he did it again and wanted a band aid to fix it. I tried and hopes a kiss for a band aid would suffice.

Second was during dinner. He spewed milk out of his mouth and nose, twice. Enough that I was anticipating a full on vomit. Instead he threw himself back into my lap and started crying and saying awwww. As if he was embarrassed, not sick. We struggled to get through the undress to dress process.

The rest of the evening was a little rambunctious. I believe most of this behavior is because he is now overtired.
